Bio

For over 15 years I’ve worked as a Story Artist and Director in the Animation Industry.  Over that time I’ve had the opportunity to experience the full pipeline of animated content creation.  I have Directed and Storyboarded for both 2D and 3D projects as well as worked with in-house teams and overseas studios. I’ve also taught both Storyboarding and Character Design in the Commercial Animation program at Capilano University.

Telling stories through the medium of animation is one of my main passions in life.  I believe strongly in creative collaboration and the value of humility when working with a team.  I take pride in being both dependable and easy to work with.  When in a leadership position I strive to treat team members with respect and to be clear, concise and composed when giving feedback.  

At this point in my career there is not a genre or art style that intimidates me.  Though I am far from a finished product, I’ve never felt more confident in my ability to adapt and excel in whatever project and role that comes my way.  

Apart from all that I like to take photos, slap the bass, read comics, watch and play sports, cook food, play with my dog and experience the wild ride that is life with my wonderful wife.
